Diabetic retinopathy referral — APTOS-2019 grader

Five-fold EfficientNet-B0 ensemble from senanurcetin/aptos-retinopathy-grader, running entirely in your browser with ONNX Runtime Web: the image never leaves your device. Code and validation: GitHub.

Referable ROC AUC: 0.983 on APTOS test, 0.984 on IDRiD, 0.819 on Messidor-2, where moderate disease without hard exudates is under-graded. Read a referral as "exudate-level disease or worse".

Not a medical device. A benchmark model trained on one public dataset, with no clinical validation. Do not use it for anyone's care. Browser resizing differs slightly from the server pipeline, so scores can differ a little from the published evaluation.
